Refund and cancellation policy
This policy covers deposits, cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds for change management consultations offered by Branch Base Change Advisory Pty Ltd.
Eligibility
Refunds apply to fees paid for advisory consultations described on this site—relocation programmes, restructure support, readiness reviews, and manager briefing series. Australian Consumer Law rights are not excluded by this policy.
Timeframe to request a refund
Refund requests should be made in writing within fourteen days of the event giving rise to the request (for example, cancellation by us, or a billing error). Requests after that window are considered case by case.
Full refunds
A full refund of amounts paid is available when we cancel an engagement before substantive work begins, or when a deposit was taken and we cannot offer a start date within thirty days of the date agreed in the engagement letter for reasons solely within our control.
Partial refunds
If you cancel after work has started, we refund the unused portion of fees after deducting time already spent at the agreed day rate or milestone value, plus any non-recoverable travel booked with your written approval. Completed milestones are not refundable.
Non-refundable items
- Completed readiness review deliverables once the written note has been issued
- Manager briefing sessions that have already been delivered
- Third-party venue or travel costs incurred with your prior approval
- Administrative fees expressly marked non-refundable in an engagement letter (if any)
Deposits
Programme deposits of thirty percent reserve advisory capacity. If you cancel more than twenty-one days before the agreed start date, the deposit is refundable minus a AUD 350 administration amount. Cancellations within twenty-one days forfeit the deposit unless we rebook an equivalent engagement in the same window, in which case we may refund the deposit on a discretionary basis.
Cancellation and rescheduling
You may reschedule discovery calls and briefing sessions once at no charge with at least five business days’ notice. Later changes may attract a rescheduling fee of AUD 150. Repeated no-shows for booked sessions may be charged at the session rate.
No-shows
If key client attendees miss a booked workshop without twenty-four hours’ notice, that session may be treated as delivered for billing purposes. We will offer one courtesy reschedule where circumstances were beyond the client’s control.
Work already started
Once interviews, workshops, or drafting of communication packs have begun, fees reflect work performed. Materials prepared to date can be provided as-is upon settlement of outstanding invoices.
Refund process and timing
Email hello@panel-branchbase.click with your organisation name, invoice number, and reason. Approved refunds are processed within fourteen business days to the original payment method where possible.
Exceptions
Statutory rights under Australian Consumer Law continue to apply. This policy does not cover physical goods, software licences, or shipping—services we do not sell.
